Education Class Thursday, September 22nd

September 4, 2011

Our September Education Class will be held on the “4th” Thursday this month, on Sept. 22nd.  The location will be at the Yamhill County Heritage Center on Durham Lane and Hwy 18, just a few minutes west of McMinnville.  It will be a 3 hour class, from 8:45 to 12 noon, so come earlier to see some of their historical facility and for refreshments.

This months’ class will provide 2 CE Hours by Casey Livingston, from Pillar to Post Home Inspection, on current inspection issues that are important for Realtors® to know.  The exact topics will be decided soon and will be emailed out to the members.

The second class hour will be provided by the Yamhill County Historical Heritage Center to help Realtors® and Affiliates learn more about the many benefits the Heritage Center provides to our communities, including educational programs, the History of the Heritage Center and its future vision.  We will also have a guided tour of their various buildings and see some very interesting & old memories of Yamhill County.

NOTICE: Our committee is doing its best to provide as many CE hours as we can for all of our classes, but it is very difficult because the State’s rules are strict on which course topics “Qualify” for their “Required Topics”.  However, we feel there are many other very important topics that Realtors® need to hear about & learn to help our business grow and to help give more professional guidance to our clients, even though we can’t assign an “approved topic” to them. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.

The Sponsor for this class has not yet been announced but you will be notified later.  In the meantime if you will get your reservations in by September 19th we will know how much to order for the refreshments. Contact Diana at ycar@onlinemac.com or 503-472-7425.
