Each $50.44 builds one square foot of the Jon Triest Memorial Home
Jon’s friends have already started this effort by sponsoring floor space area in the home-to-be of 2010. The contribution you make now will help a family that needs a safe, decent, and affordable home. Every donation supports the steps Habitat homeowners take in their new homes and in their lives.
Building Hope with Habitat for Humanity
You can help fund the construction of a Habitat for Humanity house right here in Yamhill County by donating one or more square feet.
It costs $50.44 per square foot for us to build a simple, decent and affordable home using volunteer labor and donated materials. We need 1,200 square feet donated to allow Habitat to parter a family in need.
Join with your family, friends, co-workers, neighbors and members of your faith community or civic group to donate the cost of one ore more square feet of a Habitat for Humanity house. Businesses and faith communities can sponsor an entire room.
Of course, you’re not limited to just one square foot. You can donate as many square feet or rooms as your budget allows. You can even sign your name to a square foot of the sub floor during construction if you’d like. your contribution will be a part of this house in many different ways. Plus, it’s tax deductible to the extent allowed by the law.
